1. About this service
Bag Tag Leagues (“the Service”) is operated by Disc.Market LLC at tags.disc.market. It lets a disc-golf club run a bag-tag league — claim tags by scanning a QR code, record swaps, and show a live public leaderboard.
The Service is free and provided “as is.” It is a convenience tool for clubs and players, not a paid product or a competition operator. By using it — as a player or as a league organizer — you agree to these terms.
2. Players need no account
Players do not create an account, password, or profile. Your tag is remembered on your device (see the Privacy Notice), and you may optionally enter a display name or nickname, a PDGA number, and an email address for swap alerts. You are responsible for what you choose to enter — keep it accurate, keep it appropriate, and only enter information you have the right to share.
3. League organizers are responsible for their league
League organizers sign in with their existing Disc.Market account and run their league from the tags dashboard. Co-admins share the same authority. If you create or help run a league, you are responsible for:
- the league's name, branding, and any content you add;
- the display names of your players — you approve new claims and name changes, and you must moderate anything inappropriate;
- running the league fairly, and resolving disputes, collisions, and swaps;
- the physical tags themselves and how they are handed out and used (see section 6).
Disc.Market provides the software; it does not run your league or referee your club.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, defame, or abuse anyone;
- impersonate another person, player, or club;
- enter display names, league names, or other content that is hateful, obscene, deceptive, or unlawful;
- attempt to break, overload, scrape, or enumerate the Service, or tamper with tags, QR codes, or other players' entries;
- use the Service for anything other than running or playing a tag league.
Names and content run through an automated word filter and organizer approval. Disc.Market may remove any name or content, and may suspend or take down a league or user that abuses the Service — with or without notice.
5. The physical tags are the club's
The physical bag tags — buying, printing, distributing, condition, and the rules for how they change hands on the course — are entirely the club's responsibility. Disc.Market only provides the online tracker that records who holds which number. We make no guarantee about the tags, the league's rules, or any outcome, prize, or standing.
6. Changes to the Service
Because the Service is free, Disc.Market may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue it (in whole or in part) at any time, and may update these terms. We are not liable for any interruption, change, discontinuation, or loss of data. If a league is deleted, its public history is erased.
7. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Disc.Market is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any dispute between players or clubs, arising out of your use of the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
8. The main Disc.Market Terms also apply
These terms supplement, and are in addition to, the main Disc.Market Terms of Service, which also govern your use of this Service. If a term here conflicts with the main Terms regarding Bag Tag Leagues specifically, the term here controls for the Service.
